Arriving
Arrive in Nizhny Novgorod or "Nizhny" as we call it for short. The airport code is GOJ. You'll be met at Nizhny Novgorod International Airport by one of our wonderful Russian team members and escorted to the luxurious "Alexandrovsky Garden" Hotel. The hotel was recently named the best four-star in the city. The restaurant "Alexandrovsky Garden" is available for business-lunches, romantic dinners and corporate parties. Enjoy a wonderful evening with exquisite European cuisine and gorgeous view of Volga River, which is a longest River of Europe.
Guests may enjoy picturesque river or park views out of room windows. Rooms are modern in equipment and design and can meet the demands of very experienced travelers.
All guest rooms are decorated with the unique collection of aquarelles with views of the old city of Nizhny Novgorod painted by famous Saint-Petersburg Russian artist Mr. Lipetz.
At the Air Base
The next morning, you'll be met in the hotel lobby by our representative and escorted by car to the Sokol Plant Air Base.
Each flight will be tailored individually. No exemptions.
At the air base classrooms, you'll receive your pre-flight safety briefing, detailed discussion of your flight, medical examination, suit up and meeting with your first class pilot.

Explore the city Nizhny Novgorod.
After your extraordinary flying discovery, you'll have time to celebrate your grand life event and take a tour of the on-site air museum. The museum traces the company's aircraft manufacturing history, from 1932 to today and features static displays of a La-7, MiG 15, MiG 21, MiG 29, MiG 25 and MiG 31. Several exhibits show what goes into the manufacturing of amazing jet fighters and then you'll be driven back to the hotel where you'll have some free time.
We'll make sure you enjoy a great lunch or dinner at a hotel or in a city depending on the time your supersonic flight is completed.
Next day, feel free to sleep in late and then enjoy a breakfast in a hotel, followed by a guided tour of the city. The city is located at the intersection of the Volga River and Oka River and offers some unique scenery. You'll have a time to explore Russia's third largest city (1.7 million population) a famous historical and cultural place, founded in 1221.
The city is spread broadly and freely along the banks of two great rivers – 28 km along the Oka River and 30 km along the Volga River. On its territory of 350 sq. km, there are the three European states of Liechtenstein, San Marino and Monaco. The city is incomparable in its geography and scenery. The Oka River divides the city into lowland and highland sections. The highland section is situated on seven hills and elevated above the mighty core where the Oka River and Volga River meet.

Scheduling notes.
It is important you schedule your flying discovery as much in advance as your schedule allows.
Obtaining the necessary security clearance (official permission) to fly a jet fighter in Russia can require up to 39 days.
Tour days and free time are included in the itinerary for a couple reasons. First, we think you should see a part of the amazing country where our flight takes place
More importantly though, you should have extra time in your schedule that can be used in case of bad weather if your flight on the International Air Carriers is delayed a day, etc.
How you can arrive at Nizhny Novgorod.
There are two ways to arrive in Nizhny.
The first, and most direct way is through Frankfurt, Germany by Lufthansa or via Viena Austria by Austrian Airlines. The second way is through Moscow and is best if you plan on stopping in Moscow for your own purposes.
The flights via Frankfurt or Viena require you to make only one stop , and then you will have a direct flight to Nizhniy Novgorod.

Professional DVD movie: covers your preparation for the flight and the flight itself. Some footage will be done onboard with a camera installed in the cockpit. Your movie and the photo CD will be sent to your address by international courier company (DHL, UPS). Price 600 euro.
Tailor-made pilot suit: flight suit made-to-order for your fighter flight displaying your name, Sokol Aircraft Building Plant logo which you can take back from Russia for your long memories of the flight. Please note, no equipment will be included with your purchase. Price 300 euro.
